You needed to get away from the stresses of everyday life, the stresses of being a responsible adult. We needed to get away and just be us again. To revisit the lake, on a warm night. We might be older now, but you still laugh like you did when we first met. Still take your clothes off faster than me. You're still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. So we strip off. Run into the water. And I wrap you up in my arms like you’re everything…because you are. I kiss you. I touch you. I make you come with my fingers while the lake rocks us gently. And then, still trembling, you wrap your legs around me and I fuck you deep, slow, holding you in the water while your mouth’s on my neck and your nails are in my back.
